It's a good thing as private players will improve standards Vs it's bad coz people will have less access to education

Kerala is known for its high liteacy rates and its larger per capita income as compared to the rest of the country. in my opinion primary and higher education should be handed over to the public sector in a phased manner so as to improve the quality of education. the government can provide assistance if schools meet certain norms in terms of pass percentages/facilities provided etc. what do you think, is it too early for such a move? will such a move give less access to the poor communities?
