When there is corruption through out from top to bottom the very fact of traditional education fails, Secondly, country is floating with severest of scams and allegations considering the party who is ruling at the moment. so with your focus in mind, it is benificial with bifocal education as day by day generation next is also growing old not young. so follow the league. Finally, I would really like to know that education really matters now a days. Everyone is aware of everything in life. "Ye public hai sub janthi hai....." Infact, it clears your doubt all the more

Social studies has lost relevance in the present day education. When Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, former CM of Andhra Pradesh suggested for bifocal vocational education in place of social studies there was a big uproar from all the corners. I consider Mr Naidu as a great visionary leader of this times. He proposed this a decade ago itself. He lost the elections with this kind of vision. People should know what they really need for their future.

i do believe in multi-talented personality,in such condition why not to take chance of bifocal education,b'coz purpose of education is to improve knowledge & use it in real life. otherwise you can purchase any certificate easily ,why to study if you dont want knowledge.b,coz certificate without knowledge cant help you in long run

Very difficult to say in Indian conditions. We are more conservative in making decisions. Both has pros and cons and depends on what kind of level field is available. Bifocal needs to be clearly defined in all areas otherwise at least traditional method is a time tested but needs improvement

Well we indians are basically neutral aggressive kind of people. We never go friendly with anything new as we just wait firstly its effectiveness. Yes we follow the professionalism but it doesn't mean its of UK or US. It is just a standard of professionalism and profession doesn't have any limits. We should only have to support what is right for our people and i guess its not hard to make a choice. Follow good

I am an American in Dallas, Texas. I don't even remember how I got signed up for this debate, but I am curious. I do not support either side, but there didn't seem to be a way for me to remain neutral, so I had to pick a side. What is "bifocal" education? Pardon my ignorance. Dallas cartoonist, drawUSA.com
