Any developmental activity will take some time to realize and are based on long term basis. Set back may emerge but it should be resolved in a proper way to set right the things. For each and every action there is an opposite and equivalent effects and hence one should try to maximize the positive effects.

Everything takes it own time. Nothing comes, all of a sudden. A new system or investment needs time to accrue its benefits, in due course of time. In the meantime, we need to prune the systemic elements that are being misused , from preventing the benefit to masses. So, totally we can not say that it is not yielding the results. It takes time to reflect its image.

ravali@ innovation s the need of time.innovation s nt being sacrificed by globalization.people who have money as their priority they would choose money in whatever way they want to.but their s somethhing called JOB SATISFACTION...which s obviously being aimed by the students as well as the working ppl........innovations are taking place as and when they are required......but as every coin has two sides so globalization has brought the corruption which is a probelem to be taken care of.....! :)

Globalization of the economy has meant many things, both positive and negative. But looked upon from a wider perspective it has proven to be more positive than negative for several reasons – a. It has put an end to “Licence Raj” – a period during which companies produced substandard products with impunity and we general public had to be contended with these. For example, one had to be contented with BSNL or MTNL earlier which did not know the meaning of customer care. One had to endure the “Head Scratching lineman” on your door step during every function. If you dint take care of him, off went your phone line. This was what it was before globalization. b. Growth of private entrepreneurship – Several persons from little or no background in business have made it big during this time. Whether it is IT or any other Non IT sector, these first time entrepreneurs have scaled great heights and have established themselves as players in the global market. These and many more good things have happened and so look at globalization as a positive effect. Whatever negative effects are there, it is only temporary and will soon be overcome.

I cant agree with Ravali on the point that after globalisation the students are leaving India in search of lucrative careers outside. This is been there right from the begining because the opportunities and compensations are less in India when compared to developed nations. Innovation in India is just an illusion. It is never been there. We are laggards. The R & D is given a back bench status. The Globalisation has a positive impact as far as FDIs are concerned, improvements of working standards and compensation. We could able to the access the best technology. The otherside of the coin is rich becoming richer and poor becoming poorer, negligence of agriculture sector etc.

Ravali has appriciable vision. Even when Globalization was adopted, lots of noise was made about the AGRICULTURE sector and there was too much of opposition and even the small scale industries were apprehensive and that exactly has happened that farmers with small holdings are ruined and small scale industries have sffered major set back and laws like M.R.T.P have seized to exist and very clear results are seen that Big Giants are entering in retail business and also selling vegetables.

I agree with globalization we have lost in our innovative manufacturers ,massive corruption along with inflation in salaries resulting high price rises and discouragement to indigenous enterprises ...
