yes I also agree with swati becuase if you don't have academic quallification and have indepth knowlege but you can't grow in organisation or your job. So in my point of view it is necessery. In my long term of service I saw many employees with low academic quallification and excellent work knowlege. But due to low academic quallification they not grow in their job criteria or promotion in his field.

Academic qualifications ensures you have the basics in learning. Whether one is proposing marriage or applying for a job the first thing people ask is, "what do you do?" In other words they judge you by your academic qualifications. No bio-data résumé or curriculum vitae is acceptable without the inclusion of education qualifications. Therefore it is a rule of both the corporate world and the social world that a man's acquisition of academic qualifications is much important towards opportunities in every walk of life. Academic qualifications may not be enough on their own to ensure success, but they indicate that its possessor has got what it takes.

Educational qualification certainly helps you to develop an insight but it is necessarily not the everything you need. I need not to say, " Thomas Edison failed a thousand time before he could actually make a bulb. When he was asked by a friend to quit trying he said he could not coz now he know a thousand ways of not doing that thing." The requirement is passion. If you are really passionate about something, You will definately get it. Study will help you initially but in the end its you and your passion to reach there.... Academically Qualified or not you definately need a passion to make it big. And my friends, the big Daddys and Mommas of business never had the "Academic Qualification". U too can be one of them, jst never let your passion die.

This debate has no real meaning. It is like saying, "if you stay home, you will not get killed in a road accident". Those who do not have academic qualification envy those who have and vice-versa. We can only go on a "case-to case" basis as far as academic qualifications are concerned. We cannot judge a person who has failed after having academic qualifications because there could be a lot of hidden factors which contributed to that failure.

It actually depends on what you are doing. If you are in business then you definitely dont need academics and so also if your parents are in an influential and high position where they can simply recommend and so on.

Academic Qualification does provide you a sound background to aim high. However success is a direct output of passion and relentless efforts in the right direction
