I was a part of several focus groups that were to take on certain tasks and/or develop new ideas. The main objective was to get the employees involved and have a desire to make changes in the right directions. My main concern that as a group as a whole we had lost any ounce of senergy we once obtained before. Most employees from the bottom up to middle management were ready for some change. The ideas discussed in the focus groups were never slowly migrated to the workers on the floor and assembly lines. My major issue was the fact that we wasted so much talent and year after year offered zero incentive to a higher learning program to add more value to our professional workers.
