I don't think ads before films are bring down the brand name or the value of the product. It is a kind of marketing strategy. And till date I think there isn't any objection for such ads.

And its not exactly for funding of the film but for brand publicity and to reach the audience....

Now a days social media plays a vital role in finding new customers. By using Facebook like social sites even small companies/agencies can promote their products and find new customers. For example: There is a book seller in Kolkata "Gopallal saw and sons" using facebook to introduce various books at discounted rates, and their free home delivery scheme(yet within kolkata) attracts various new to buy books from that seller. So its a new trend with a wide range to find customers.

hi sunita i didnot understand this question fully.but what i understand it say yes large companies takes unfair advantage over competition.that companies is well known in market and customer and public easily listen and digest things from advertisement,but small companies is pushing pushing the customer by advertisement.

In our modern world today, we cannot escape being drawn to advertising.It is everywhere – billboards; television, internet; washrooms, but the worst by-far is advertising in films. It upsets us completely that a movie would saturate most of its scenes with Coca-Cola or Nike. It doesn’t go well with the overall appeal and it makes it unnatural and it must stop.
