Thanks Pankaj for bringing this subject into light. Perhaps not even merit.. It should be standardized. The entrance forms then the college forms everything costs too much. We are almost left with no choice but to pay. Govt should standardize it.

No it is not affordable for every student but have no choice, as it is compulsory

before giving an entrance exam.

No it is not. The institiutes are trying to recover their cost of marketing. Some also argue that this works asa deterrent for non serious students. But personally this is wrong and not affordable to a common student.

Sheetal yes the cost of forms should be lowest possible or in other wards there should be a slandered set by the Government. Unfortunately no body cares being a low priority subject.
