Here we are.. The budget is out and what.. domestic as well as international travel (air) becomes costly!! Already it was not "CHEAP".. We have always paid too much and now more.. The distances and time and work make us travel by air but it won't be the same now.. Increasing fare means - one will thinks twice before booking a ticket.. Do you think increasing the fare is fair??

Increasing fare anywhere is not fair. How can it be. But they perhaps know that one who has to travel will travel come what may.. But now service class people will have to think twice before "thinking" of booking a flight.

As inflation rate is increasing rapidly all the things will affected shortly. To increase the transportation rate is fair but not try to implement Non-monetary measures to control inflation is not fair. Govt is taking too much step in the way of monetary measures to control inflation but it couldn't help.

World over Airlines were in doldrums for quite some time. Price of every material has gone up .So, the cost of airline has also gone. Already price of oil is likely to go up. So, it is sad , but part of market oreinted economy. taxworry.com

Increase in price of any product or services can't be good for the consumers.Travelling by airlines would again become a dream for many Indians. But when the basic needs like food has become so costlier these days so it was bound to have effect on other product and services as well. Though this price rise will not have effect on a large mass. But the food and fuel price rise had certainly impacted the lives of many of us.

Yes I agree with you particularly for the point 'one has to travel come what may '. Main factor of increase of airfare is global oil price particularly current situation of ME

But still I do not blame the airlines because they are pressurised between the petroleum hike and irrate customers. They are simply passing the extra burden on the customers. question is whether the percentage of increase is justified? Are Govt agencies keeping a watch on the increase? I have great doubt on the ministries , who knows whether any scam is awaiting in this sector or not. Lets hope for the best. But as a common man it is too much indeed!
