Optimism .. I am not blind toward the scams hapenning but my thought is that how high would it go. Logically light comes after the darkst hour and if this 87% corruption is the farthest of what it can get than surely it will reduce. How much would these people eat?? There is a limit to everything and to this thing too...

never, its like salt to sea water, its like sun rays in sun. never ever. The days are not far away from us when our country became a corruption free country. First of all we needs to have awareness amongst the common people about their rights. Every politician or govt machinery should work with high morality and transparency. There should be a severe and major punishments to those who found indulge in corruption. People must become sincere and faithful among each other. All this offer involvement of youths who are future of INDIA.

In a country like India which has a bulk population, huge geographical area and with backdated administration rules, it is hardly possible to remove corruption from here.It is like a glass of water mixed with poison. Can anybody make this water 100% poison-free? Probability is undefined. To remove corruption from every corner of the country, it is required to keep vigilance persons everywhere, but even they may be corrupted also.So what is necessary is to change the mentality of people. But in an economically diversified country like India, change of mentality of each citizen is also impossible.

CORRUPTION PERCEPTION INDEX AND RANK OF INDIA YEAR RANK 1995 35 1996 46 1997 45 1998 66 1999 72 2000 69 2001 71 2002 71 2010 87 AT LAST 2011...............?????? India improving by 2G Spectrum Scam We have had a number of scams in India; but none bigger than the scam involving the process of allocating unified access service licenses. At the heart of this Rs.1.76-lakh crore worth of scam is the former Telecommunication minister A Raja – who according to the CAG, has evaded norms at every level as he carried out the dubious 2G license awards in 2008 at a throw-away price which were pegged at 2001 prices.

Yes Esha the corruption and bribe will go down. I will suggest all the Bribe givers should also face severe penalty with the taker.

I agree with your statement totally.

Corruption is a pathology not something people do because they are disposed to that. The lags, the anomalies including low purchasing power of the currency are the headaches prompting one to be corrupt. Once these can somehow be eliminated then corruption will end. Then after 50 years of lopesided economic policies how we endow ourselves is through this activity and one cannot eradicate it overnight, it will take time depending on how well we conceive our economy in future. Enodowments needs are inherent in every human and if economy doesn't allow one to feel well endowed then he will resort to whatever means open to him to be well endowed which is the pathology and one need to carefuly design the processes and work ernestly to create a just, fair and equitable nation like other developed economies in the worldl
