I too share the views expressed by the Quingley to some extent, because when the global recession and economic meltdown happening around the world, India's GDP growth rate is premier among global economy, it is reaaly a simptom of her capability to controle her financial matters efficiently. You are aware that countries like India, China, Brazeel etc were not effcetd much out said global crisis.

We all know that India has survived the recession better than most other countries but my answer to this question is no. Leave aside India, no individual country can do this. However banks and financial institutes all over the world are working on it and the results are slowly starting to show. Infact although it is a global problem the causes are surprisingly much less dramatic. Issues such as terms of lending, valuation of property, chances of a borrower to become insolvent are being scrutinized by every country at their level. 

Thanks to RBI to save Indians from over spending.
