India is a country of bewilderingly great diversities. We keep marveling at the incredibly harmonious co-existence of various religions & culture; its varied landscapes from Kashmir to Kannyakumari and from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh, the different cuisines, etc! In fact every single home is like a school of kitchen! India is also a place for Ayurveda, Yoga, learning, amazing arts & crafts, mountains, backwaters, nature, rivers, deserts, wildlife enthusiasts

India has taj mahal,charminar, hampi, khajuraho, ajantha ellora caves & fatehpur sikri in temples & in population it stands first place, IT has IIIT Hyderabad IIIT, Allahabad IIIT, Bengaluru IIIT, Delhi IIIT, Bubhaneshwar IIIT, Jabalpur IIIT, Gwalior IIIT, Kolkata apart from all these things i live in india who has u all in friends list then who said its not incredible... I LOVE MY INDIA

I am sorry. But can there be a place/thing/animal/logic/idea without flaws? There is nothing called perfection except in theosophy and spirituality. Evolution is a continuous process directed towards betterment and stability. So many great civilizations have come and gone. All of them had many bright things about them as well as some not so bright things. So, India is still faring very well given the illiteracy, disease, corruption, education, history and so many other pit falls we have. I love this country.

According to the right wing hindus, India is a superpower. The reasons:

a).4th most corrupt country in the world along with somalia, indonesia and vietnam.

b).Most dirtiest rivers in the world.

c).India's hunger index score was 67(higher this number, the worst its situation is) among 84 most hungry(for food) nations.

d).Second most populated country in the world

e).The country with fastest depleting water resources

f).ranks 119th on the human development index along with somalia and cambodia

g).there are 500 million poor indians who can have only one meal a day, sometimes not even that

h).250 million indians do not have access to toilets.

i).350 millions do not have access to clean drinking water

j). 2 among the top 10 richest people in the world are Indians

k).top 10 richest Indians together hold the wealth equal to the next 480 billionaires of India...around 500 billion rupees.

l).Top 5 temples in India (excluding padmanabhaswamy temple) has a combined wealth of over 1500 crore rupees as fixed deposit ALONE.

m). India's natural resources .....still people are able to get trillions (e.g. our own Yeddy).....even after digging and looting for the past some 100 years...

Yes - incredible India.

yes! our corruption is Incredible ! Government, their officers and their work is incredible! Religions are incredible !84000 Devi Devta's are incredible ! Thousands  years old our SANSKRUTI is incredible !,our Tantrik science is incredible!,

Every thing is incredible !

But can we speak and prove this incredible out side INDIA?

Yes. From time immemorial, India (Bharat, as it used to be) is an incredible country. Alas! Are we the the citizens incredible? Do we Govern this country properly? Do we have any sense to guard the natural resources and are we maintaining ecological balance? Can any one of us claim that we are from this great country free from all negativity? Its time to introspect! Saumya, as Deepak pointed out you should place your argument on the other side!

Hi Saumya please add your argument on right side. Though I do not know why do you think so? Corruption, population or anything else .. is it making less happy in person? Culture and languages make it more colourful than anything else.

No according to me India is not an incredible country, because their are lots of issues we have to solve out like corruption, population, unemployment etc. According to their different types of culture and languages we can not say a country incredible.
