The quality of education and the lack of passion in the Indian youth is making the country young but in disguise. Corporate find difficult to find a match for the job. An engineer is not a true engineer beside being on papers. This situation is not only with this profession but with many others.

I think today the youths are more passionate but sorry to say that they just competing with themselves.Competition is not bad thing. But because of this they just do the things fast. But at this time result doesn't matter.the thing which matter is how we do the things. We have the right youth but this things need to be improved. We are lacking in quality.

Yes, as a matter of fact we should be the youngest average of 29 years of age by 2020 and we stand to be the youngest among the world averages. So let us not complain whether we are empowered or not. As a matter of fact we should try to empower the youth if they have had no opportunity.Alternatives will not help because there are none. Education has been nevertheless of less support for the present generation in terms of preparation for leadership, statesmanship and to handle administrative and policy matters. There are many avenues, like the coaching centres for the young who aspire to get themselves transformed. These avenues were rather totally non existent during pre or post independance days. The blaming game, conflicts, difference of opinion, disparities, indiscriminate venture in biased issues to gain control over self glorification will all come to an end during the future. This can be achieved only with the strong identification of issues of common interest benefitting the large masses. I am sure the youthful leaders will shoulder these responsibilities and come out with flying colours.

Hi All, Our Youth today is very competitive and have passion and are fit for development. However since our Independance for last 60years many on the top level management are in their retirement ages and they still have a mental block that these youg people today have not reached the state to take responsibility. Many seniors today just to save their future of their retired life shy and do not give the empowerment effect to youngsters who can do much more in their environment where science and technology has the reduced the distance and time as a matter of fact. The young are to be empowered whichmany do not give and are still lingering on their wisdom which is the right one what the elderly people think of . many elders do have a stereotype vision of no mistake syndrome and taht they do not want to risk the saem by empowering young people. We all know that allof us have been experienced only by commiting some mistakes of the other hence why not we allow our young bubbling youth to work for a better world and highlydeveoped world that could be useful to the society as a whole. many compays are family held companies and there empowerment of young professionals would be difficult. however some rpudent companies did put the weight on shoulders and are reaping the results. There is another feeling among thecorporates these days is that they take young people toonley run and do jobs just by using them as brawn and the seniors (elders) like to use theri brain for the job accomplishment. Again here the initiative is killed among the youth. In our company even though Iam 58 years old i have realised this and have empowered young people to take on decision and do job with mistakes that would be obvious. Ifind that the young are too good and are comparable to any person with more years because of their ability to understand things faster than the older lot, which includes me too. I feel proud of themand they are a wonderful lot who are if empowered like us and motivated and allow their initiatives not to be killed . The elderly senior pr\eople should take this step to empower the young and provide the country with good development in whatever way they could. This would help our society at large.

The Fruit of the Globalization should be reached to all indians. I worried that, It should not shrunk in politicans Hands. They Should have come out with Expansion of Trade in all the sectors other than IT. Firm Stands against corruption may motivate our Young generation to contribute more in National Mission.

Dear Nishant We have empowered and passionate youths but didnt have the system to explore their capabilities. Did you ever read the books of russia and america. if you will read you will know its their system that put a seed of thought in mind of their youth. but we are not free till now. we speak english and uncomfortable with our mother toungh hindi. We are still not complete free. so the thoughts that we have are imposed by the others who have ruled on us. so just change the system and nation will have the power you cant imagine.

We have potential youth power but when we say youth power we should cover the young talent and the supporting mechanism as well. In absence of any two the adjective 'youth power' can not be used. To what extent young generation relates its objective with the national objective? Rather how many really know their objective of life?

To day's youth are primed nicely. I compare my days with the present days where the youth has, scope to develop skills at ease conveniently. See the amount of education available to them to learn through Mass media education, Distance Education, E-education & scores of ways to learn knowledge and skills. Technological development & globalism has given them a wider choice for learning & to develop the right potential that they, really, intend to develop. Resources are freely made available through internet, social media etc., which were all, very remote in our times. Their active participation in business, pursuit of higher learning and all, a good sign to note that they are primed. You see Mr.Obama, genuinely quote India's educations & its growth among youth, is challenging their youths in the coming years. What else do we need to say then. Thanx Shilpaji

Well if we go by our CWG games medal haul, or check out the talent that some reality shows portray regards the youth talent then it does reflect that we certainly have the right youth. However where we have to improve is to ensure this is not a 10:90 ratio, our education system should imbibe the hunger to learn into youth which continues even after moving out of schooling system.

we have right youth for the National mission but no proper guidance & leadership to groom & guide them by example, inculcate passion & value system at the proper age. As we all know the present atmosphere is exposing them to more westernization culture & lifestyle, consumerism, greed & search constantly for get rich quick formula.

no i feel lyk we do have energetic capable passionate youth...but every one in India just don't want to change...they just want to follow the same old things...if we want to be in the top of the world where we have the capability then we have to change our current situation...the last generation just dont want to support the current generation..they want us to do the work in their way whereas we can do far better in our way...so the mentality needs to be changed...then only we will be able to use the passionate youth...the ideas..

I feel we do have energetic and passionate youth who are ready to melt themselves for the given task. its just that the guiding and supporting mechanism of the country is not in place. we are busy in following what is been set for us by our previous generation. we need to start bulding an effective mechanism to help channelize our energies in right direction.
