Lets understand what is terrorism-creating terror by mean of bulets, considering possible threats security agencies are alert enough to prevent any such incident happening on road but Now a days terrorist attacks are based on soft skills of planning and executing, and Bhuvan will surely help them trace thier targets and plannings,,..... guys lets accept this , i think technologies for mass uses do always have demarits of misuse in them.... lets hope for some one best

I think its as safe as it can get. I personally do not like the Google ground views and see it as a violation of people civil rights. Lots of action, especially in lawsuits against them over this, and some countries say they have accessed and presented too much information...... Do you want someone looking 360 degrees around your business, house or the home of a family member? That being said, the technology is extremely useful. Sure bad people do bad things, but that should not stop or even slow down this project.

I don't see any threat to country's security by developing and using BHUVAN. Whether we have our own search engine or not, already there are many continuously watching the landsacpae. Every inch of the country can be seen in Google earth. If somebody has not tried so far, freely download Google earth search for your home. You can see your car parked in fron of your house and may be your children playing in the courtyard.

I really dont understand the logic of security reasons. Let me tell you when the people decides to destry any thing without fearing to their life then they can do any thing. The classical example is World trade center, Mumbai attack, Rajiv Gandhi murder etc etc. We should keep on adopting the technology with proper security built in. Let me tell you that even with Google earth you can zoom to any part of world and get the minuest details. Regards Praveen

I somewhat agree with Mr.Rajesh and like he said there are pros and cons of every thing but one thing we certainly can do is before launching this service, first there should have an adequate security in place for this so that no one can misuse it to their advantage.Like other users also said we cannot stop doing our work fearing someone that they can use it to our disadvantage.

It will be safe..they must be aware of misuse of google earth by terrorist...so sufficient safe gaurds must have been taken.llike blocking senstive points etc..Bhuvan is a real technology feast for India..It must come.We can not stop ourselves in developing something fearing some body will missue it...this is not the answer.

If Bhuvan is for urban planning, let the concerned authorities only have the access to it. Why common man should also acceess it. For him any how, google Earth is available. If security is an issue for Bhuvan, they same amount of data is also available in Google earth First let us it for urban planning and later it can be made available for public

Not every system in the world is seal-proof and one or the other, there is a chance that, it may be hacked. Iam not saying, we don't have better technology but at the same time we shouldn't hide away the reality. THE REALITY IS THAT WE DONT HAVE A BETTER SECRUITY SYSTEM INPLACE TO SAVE THE TECHNOLOGY.
