Not exactly, we should not follow their strategy because they environment, resources and the taste of the people differs. If India wants to bring any change it should first stop depending on China.

We should take our hands completely from china and should start producing by ourselves. This will decrease the cost and will increase the employment opportunities in India which will help us to grow....

no country should copy others! but india some day have to become a communist country then and then only all the problems of India will be solved. Indian citizens are not that valuable to be given a democratic system.

Agree with Isha, just adapting to some one's success formula doesn't guarantee success in your venture too. The growth model to be followed should match our requirement, resource and plan.

Growing doesnot depend upon the Growth model....it actually depends upon the enthusiaam of the masses....n a feeling of being responsible among them....

No India should not adopt the model of china but make its own model which not only make it self dependent but als o act as a role model for other developing countries.

The key to India's success will be "not to follow China's example and be on it's own".

India's growth may appear slow (compared to China), but it is real. It happens after all the discussions, democratic process. But when it happens, it is accepted by all sections of society. It promises sustainability.

China has been smarter to exploit the world situation to her advantage. Follow this example : When carbon credit system came up, (Kyoto protcol), the factories came up overnight in China, which do not produce anything, but earn millions of dollars in carbon credit. Such policies bring short term benefit. But they can not sustain for long time.

Moreale of the story. India will do itself a favour by not looking at China.

We will always remain a democratic country..that means all of us will argue and decide that nothing can be done....unlike the Chinese where one person decides and the entire country follows to achieve focused growth.

why to adopt others plan for our growth. we indians have shown our excellence in various fields to the present world.we have put the thought of world about us to a test by proving our excellence in both technical and non technical fields.we are the next generation of our country and the development of our country depends on our hands.now this is our part to show our potential at the best level without any hesitation. we are strong, determined and ready to put our thoughts to implementation.

We should certainly learn from others who are doing better than us. However , if we are convinced that we are on the right path , and that others who are doing better , are not on the right path , then we should not ape them.

In this case China's growth has been based on dictatorship , or at least an authoritarian government , with scant respect for human rights. We should not follow in their footsteps.

Time will show that China's policies are wrong.

If we realy wish to adopt something from china, than it is patriotism, courage, free from corruption and strong administration, otherwise nothing to learn from them. These are core practices which needs to incorporate in our model.

Our economy model is one of the best in the world, leads to steady and strong growth. Except some bad habits we are through.

Because of corruption we are 20 years back than China and other world developed countries.... otherwise we would be far better then them.
