Recently the world was unconvinced by the G8 Carbon Pledge held at Italy.
China, India, Mexico, Brazil and South Africa were not prepared to sign up to a specific target to control their own emissions by 2020.

Was this a right decision taken by these countries?

As for now India & China are the most populated & the most polluted nations in the world. The carbon emmissions produced in these countries are increasing at a uncontrolable rate because of the high number of vehicles & increasing technologies. It is also effecting the global warming too.So the unwillingness of India towards the carbon pledge is a big terror for the future ahead.
