There is no denying the fact that Indian pure play BPO providers such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro and WNS are much cheaper than compared to the Accenture's and the IBM's. The question that I would like to ask the community is "Are they better?"

Please share your thoughts on:

  1. Why the pure play providers are cheaper?
  2. Are they necessarily better in delivering value / better performance

I think there is no question about delivering value and performance from the companies that you have mentioned,, the companies that you are talking about are the top performers in their field and they are providing some excellent services than the accenture's and the IBM's and are providing it for cheap...The same work in abroad would have cost more, but in India, the work done is very cheap due to the difference in the economy..According to me the Indian companies are way much better....

Definitely Indian companies provide better service than their counterparts.Employees who are working in such companies are intelligent & much more patient while interacting with customers which is a very big advantage for them. This certainly satisfy customer's needs and provide them a satisfaactory performance.
