The thing called international standards is not yet been achieved by Indian schools. Things like practical know how and aprenticeship is done in only a few institutes for UG or PG level but nothing is there for high school level. I still support Indian schools just because we are not too far in achieving the standards and once achieved we are the best.

It is a much touted fact that handful of India school rank higher than several hundred foreign business schools, and the attracted global recruiters too. Indian schools generally work out much cheaper than any of their foreign counterparts and also better education.

I don't agree with you vinayarajan, Indian schools still have a long way to go before they reach the Ivy League. There are many areas in which foreign schools emerge winners. To be sure, a institute with a five-year-old history will never be able to match the brand equity established by institutions like Harvard, Stanford and Wharton. Any company whether foreign or domestic-will have a bias towards foreign institutions. And this will be true even if the foreign institution is not among the top 10 institutions of India....
