People still take Automation as a "Misconception". Automation in Indian industries still remains to be a question, when it comes to bring a fruitful change in the previous less profitable patterns installed.

In my opinion India has got a long way to go in industrial automation. The need of the hour is control instrumentation and automation industries is to ensure asset control and cost effective increased production in chemical, heavy engineering and metallurgical sector with an assurance of quality control. The greatest challenge for automation industry is the increasing national competitiveness in R and D. In this respect the immediate challenge for automation industry is to protect their home market from global suppliers and so to sustain in this competitive market.

I'm totally satisfied with your argument Isha. But one point I would like to introduce in this concern, is that presently there are large number of institutions in India which are preparing individuals in the field of Industrial Automation. Hence, there are people roaming out there with all sort of required knowledge but NO JOB offers in hand.

The reason behind is that, to bring Automation to an industry huge capital investment is required...RIGHT. And industrialists are not ready to give opportunities to freshers in this concern....they are directly hiring the professionals having 5-10 yr plus experience.

Now what would you say about this problem, which even I am also dealing with. After completing A1 course from A1 institute of India...presently jst continuing with what I could do 2 years back.
