The ground water table reducing ina alarming rate. It is not known, if the world war IV is for water, but the fighting already started within the states of country. Inter linking of rivers may be considered as a millennium solution of water crisis of our country. Our country is still getting enough water during rainy season and most of the volume flows to ocean with out use. But the scenario is going to change within a decade if we don’t take it seriously. The interlinking of rivers is the only solution for the best water resources management practice for our country. As the project will be the biggest project ever executed, it will boost our Infrastructure many fold and will change the face of rural India.
