Be it any version of internet explorer, it will work because

  1. It is free with windows, the market leader.
  2. Very few people know that there are other browsers available. To them internet is synonymous with the e symbol.

IE is still the leader as majority get it as bundled with their Windows and windows still rule.

But the problem is, with every new version of IE they are upgrading the look n feel in the cost of memory consumption. The Question is if IE users are going to upgrade to the higher version. I feel majority of them will not upgrade (mostly people are happy with their installed version). MS can only force installing this higher version with their new Window version.

New technology is always welcomed and the features that is built in explorer is good so I have a yes towards it.

I am not in favour I do not think that this can beat the market of firefox. And above all explorere is coming as a package so some people are using it otherwise market leader is firefox.
