Indeed it will speed up development of any nation by helping in improving the intellectual quotient of the populace. And once the intellect improves, other things would fall in place as economic progress would pick up and all round development would get the boost.

Yes Amrita I agree with you. Yes it is one of the tools but probably will not help development to a great extent. Otherwise all the countries would have grown at the speed we have grown. But it is not a global phenomena.

On the contrary the otherwise developed  nations would have gone further ahead but countries like Greece is in doldrums. The most of the countries in african continents has not developed.

Yes ,It is absolutely right.Now a days poor or small countries are improving or increasing their business and functionalities with the help of Internet.They are now able to connect around the world with the Internet as in the part of globalization.
