Companies while hiring caters to the attitude of you need us but the fact lies that though the candidate needs it but even the company needs it more because if you won't somebody else would.

A report of the survey that was done at a management institute tells after surveying 100 candidates that those who were harshly treated by the interviewee are soon looking for other jobs.

This statement holds true to a much greater extent while interviewing people often forget these are the candidates who are actually needed by the company so they are not to be illtreated. They are assets to the company and not liabilities You take them because you actually need them.

Here this is not the case of being rude towards the candidate its about testing the candidate according to the company's environment. And my experience says that they actually become good friends with a person by whom they were interviewed.
