Manufacturers boast about their high resolution displays, dual-core processors, RAM, basically stuff a common man won't understand. These things will appeal to the geeks but geeks actually form a very small portion of the people who buy these things. iPads are wanted and the reason for this is not the technology but the way they have been advertised..http://i.ytimg.com/vi/DqXRypfA8aA/0.jpg

The more the Technical development, the more is severity to Health. These latest gadgets are no doubt more handy means - its screen must be smaller, thus EYE STRAIN would be more for long operations. Hence these gadgets could be handled for rare occassions like traveling etc. not for continous as the PC in offices.

i will take ipad not only because it's manufactured by apple but apple is the best security provider than any other.feature could be same but security is not.

Applications are what most people watch out for ...and at such ipad is a better pick...but ipads lack a multi-tasking environment which is present in tablets.As a consumer device i think ipad is much better and "mature" than a tablet.

I am going along Leena.The reason being its numerous applications.Tablet has its own distinct features such as handwriting recognition, touch input and virtual key board on the screen.

Flash and multitasking are the two major Android supported features which are not present in the iPad. Other than that flexibility in operations and more number of applications are available in iPad.
