When the first Maruti car was launched as the cheapest vehicle with Suzuki collab, the frenzy and excitement and the mad rush to buy it was palpable to the extent of the nation vibrating with excitement. What happened next? Its just another car manufacturer who is introducing new models with new variations and new campaigns for each models. The excitement will certainly die a bit when you enter the brand in its second year after birth. Nobody likes aging and when we definitely say that a brand has to find an emotional quotient with the consumer, I am sure even the brand doesnt like aging and will find a way to create new waves to keep the faith of its consumers and the emotional connect.

I would say nothing can beat the excitement and craze of Indian fans when it comes to cricket.IPL in South Africa will be successful no doubt but the hype,energy levels of people and the hype over it won't be same as last year. .

yes I agree with you Anil that this time IPL will not create that type of excitement ,which was seen in IPL2008.The major reason for this is that it has been shifted in South Africa.Majority of Indian audience are crazy about cricket,but due to this shift majority of audience can't see the match on the field which create lively environment in the field.

Planning of IPL to be outside India might loosen the interest of people. The things would matter there would not be state because people are not aware of these outside India.
