In the wake of crash of one of its flights from Dubai at Mangalore, Air India brand has taken sever hit as time and again these planes are involved in spate of incidents where lives are lost and the latest being the mangalore incident, there are serious threats with the Air India  flights, Air India's operational and engineering infrastructure of its budget carrier was inadequate and did not meet required norms in this case.

But, then the airline said it was well equipped to handle operations and fleet maintenance to established standards. Apart from independent administrative and technical staff, Air India Express has fully trained and qualified pilots and engineers to run operations, the airline said in a release. But some how these reports from them dont justify..What do you think guys, Is Air India really equipped to handle operations and fleet maintenance??

Air India has many areas to improve, especially customer service. Even though the airline has a firm objective to stick on to this, the approach of many employees of AI is terribly inappropriate. I think this has had a bad image on AI's reputation.

I really don't think Air India has the capability to handle things at the moment, they are in a debt and are unable to come out from that, praful patel is doing nothing at the helm, its just for the sake he offered his resignation and the PM did not accept it, and this has become a trend of lately from P. chidambaram, to Jairam ramesh offering resignations but not accepted..and the way things are managed in these AI is really pathetic, service is not good  compared to others...they fall way behind interms of customer satisfaction and lately there are more incidents for AI flights and not others, this tells their maintenance and their fleet operations.
