Yes, Anna is a crook secretly aiming for Bharat Ratna....no doubt about it. I agree with Ardhendu that he shouldn't be playing this game at the cost of some children's education, jeopardy of law, etc etc

Gurleen Kaur According to my deepest study on this Anna Hazare Drama and the threatening he gives of Dramatic Fasting (Dramatic because he takes ample amount of glucose and electral sufficient to keep one going for years) I have concluded that this undemocratic person is after a strong self centered motive and that is a complete unquestionable dictatorship over India which is unacceptable in my ethics and learning on civic science. Moreover this is absolutely jeopardy of law and order and violations of protocols of a responsible citizenship which has got 10 fundamental duties that are bound to be followed in order to enjoy the fundamental rights. Firstly his orders to students by visiting schools is completely a gameplay kind of action and this is sure to mar the future citizen's education proceedings. Secondly his order to government employees to take leaves from job speaks of his intention to disturb the progress of our Nation. His action of not coming out of Tihar Jail even 2 days after official release shows his stubbornness at par. Moreover getting publicity by cheapest methodology and techniques. Anna's corrupt personality has been proved by the Supreme Court-appointed Justice Sawant Commission. Moreover a video available on youtube.com confirms of his dictatorship personality.

Let us be considerate. When someone is doing something for everyone's betterment, people come up with such irrelevant questions. This is ridiculous. Ok let us suppose that his aim is to win Bharat Ratna, even then he is working hard to get things done and finally we the whole Indian citizens are going to get the benefit of it. What is he going to do with the Bharat Ratna in his old age. And also, even if somebody promises to give you Bharat Ratna, how many days can you starve without food. My humble request is, please do not come up with such thoughts, even if somebody wants to bring some changes in the society, he will not do fearing such gossips. This is sequel to my earlier comment about the movement. What I've apprehended has become a reality. Baba Ramdev has side-tracked the movement with political colour and he is tredging in a very very dangerous path that will disturb and de-stabilize our Democracy! On the other hand, Anna Hazare, who is unheard of in Lutyan's Delhi (as his movements were only confined to Maharashtra alone for more than two decades) draws crowd from all walks of life (elites included) from all over the country and abroad on a clarion call to fight corruption in true spirit (Gandhian way) should not be mis-judged to be selfish! No one could have, other than him, in the present circumstances, made the Government to realize that they can continue to enjoy hegemony, after getting elected for five years, without resistance and public oppression. He is loved by the masses, children, youth, elders, mothers, sisters and every like-minded citizens who is interested in corruption-free country! In a country where birth and death certificate are made after you are forced to pay bribe, how can we expect the country to become super-power in the year 2020. Our ex-President asked the youth to dream for a great vibrant India. We need a clean personality to convert the dream into reality - otherwise, it will remain as a dream alone! That's Anna Hazare!

Absolutely bizarre!! how can we even think of it. He left his family and relatives and fighting against corruption for the citizens of India. People like him are not hungry for any material needs or ratna's or award.

How ridiculous the statement is. Our minds are polluted. We believe only the cheaters. We tend to doubt the good. Chiranjeevi got Padmabhushan for his blood bank. But, he used it as entry pass into politics. We are habituated to support these fellows. But we cant accept a real move. A goat believes in choppers. All the best. I dont want to be a goat in heard.

Not even a single human think about it before, he is the first one come forward and fight for us. We have to appreciate his effort taken for this country. I am really feel bad to see these kind of silly questions. Even we don't support him or identifying us, we should aviod these kind of questions or thinking wrong about great person. And now I think what happened if we recommended to give Barat Ratna. Do you think he is not qualified for this...

Mr. S. Muralidharan has hit the bulls eye, there will be a paradigm shift of this issue. What Anna started is just an initiation, taking the consent of Baba Ramdev, Arvind Kejriwal, Swami Agnivesh and a few other social activists. The next point of target of politicians and mediapersons will be any one of them.

Who told you sir. Had you any information? Sir, We are not having guts to oppose the atrocities that are taking place before our eyes, we are not decissive to choose a right candidate with our franchise, we are meek to raise our voice, while we are being robbed by our rulers through direct and indirect taxes, We never bother how an ordinary person amassing crores of wealth after he join in Politics and finally, we do not know what are our rights are.In such a murky conditions, a man with Gadhian Principles came forward to fight against Corrupt Leaders. If we cannot lead the agitation, atleast we support the leader. If that is also not possible, it is our minimum responsibility not to spread the rumours. Thank you.

We have to wait and watch, whether the draft bill will get enacted as Bill in the parliament. It looks as if Baba Ramdev will take the rein from Anna ji, as he is caught up in the storm of controversies on the selections he made!

Mr Anna Hazare ,after his retirement, has been working for the welfare of Society with the active participation of people. With the agitation against corruption and for the enactment of Jan Lokpal bill,he has become the "father of our nation ".Indians should be cautious and awake till the Jan lokpal bill is passed by the Parliament. It's too early to say about the honoring such a great personality with Bharat Ratna. Let him guide the nation with his valuable dedication and the people enjoy the fruits .

I would like to say 3 things 2 you, Firstly, Anna Hazare was doing his social service where ever he was. You dont know where he was because media didnt want him till now. Now there are lakhs of followers to him. Media want to raise thier TRPs so they are publicizing him. Secondly, you say Lokayukata is not working. Karnataka lokayukta is the only lokayukta that is working so effectively. Have you ever heard about Santosh hegde? Thirdly, Be optimistic my friend, Lets hope things will change and work towards it. Do what you can do to support the cause.

May be, he might be one of the contenders but according to me he will not be honored with the Bharat Ratna because, the law which he is trying to bring will act against the politicians and that they would not allow him to succeed.
