We are a hearing a lot of Baba and Govt , Govt and Baba stories. But what about the main motive? The main motto was to fight against corruption. Are we heading to it? Is this episode a mere distraction?

As this episode had turned the tides I feel it is a distraction. Anna to has come to Baba's aid and is on hunger strike today. The committee on the other hand is saying that they will draft the bill with or without Team Anna. If this happens the whole process , energy and efforts will go useless.

THE CRUX OF THE MATTER IS ONE WILL B BETTER OFF BY MAKING OTHERS WORSENING OFF. I PERSONALLY FEEL BABA WOULD HAVE WAITED FOR SOME MORE TIME SINCE ANNA HAZARE'S EFFORTS IS STILL UN ANSWERED. CONGRESS KNOWS VERY WELL THAT THEY CANNOT ESCAPE FROM THE CLUTCHES THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE IS DO SOME UNFAIR MEANS.

Hello guys please check this link http://www.infoplease.com/world/statistics/most-corrupt-countries.html and decide what are we up to. In my opinion there is no need to unnecessarily pressurize the government who is already serious upon the issue and taking great measures to ensure not to be listed that too just for any individual's personal benefit or ambitions.

Yes I agree with the idea .Instead of talking about how blackmoney could be brought back, government is trying to count Baba's assets what a pity?

perhaps somewhat nevertheless might not make much difference to the fight, hope we could understand the human values and will be making a society by and for all to live.

Baba has taken the whole episode more personaly and have almost forgotten the core issue. Congress is trying their best to divert the issue too just to ensure that next 60 years also pass by without any concrete solution.

Men in Congress are blacksheep themselves, how they accept Baba Ramdev's proposal. If they accept, it is nothing but digging their own grave. So they by all means defame the agitation of Baba. They are politicising it as BJP and RSS sponsored agitation to bring rift among people on the lines of Religion. The Congress Government is in total frustration with Common Wealth Games Scam,2G Spectrum Scam,4G Spectrum Scam, Adarsh Housing Scam and so on. Lacs of thousands of money exchanged hands. If Baba's agitation intensified, more things will come to light. So they have to nib the agitation at the beginning itself. Congress is well known for it's devide and rule policy. Public shouldn't be prey to these schemes. It is the collective responsibility of all Indians to take part or atleast support the movement above state, caste, religion, region or position. If we lose this momentum we will be always the losers. jai hind.

Yes Santosh it is possible to bring back the money but it is easier said than done. It will take time.

Looking at the current govt it appears that they are willing to walk an extra mile to bring back the money.

Yes Mr. Ayan.

The  priority of Mr. Anna has changed in the recent past. Instead of giving top priority to Lokpal Bill, he choses to give priority to Token Fast, clearly, shows that he is leaning a bit towards Politics to gain access to Popularity. It is shear waste of time of people & the media that went all over to ," Bell the Cat". Probably, now he understands what he is used for & what he needs to do for him.

Rather, giving importance to making draft Bill, he likes to explore avenues to go on for FASTING. We need not to discuss in depth what made him to change the priority.(Political compulsion by his team or Personal intension).

But, he desires to give out ultimatum to Govt that 15 Aug'11, he will continue to go for Fasting if Govt fails to do it. These intonations are clear, his personal ambition is different from "Making the Lokpal Bill."

I think it clearly shows the mentality of the Govt. to misguide the people from issue of corruption.

Very true it's the congress's strategy to misguide people from real issue.

the need of the hour is all of us should unite oppose the corruption in every possible way.

see these corrupt political people should be held responsible for their sins,

and it is directly affecting the common man now be it  petrol pries  hike or the suicides of farmers, even if you see the interviews of some of the ministers they give some foolish  & stupid arguments & just stretch the topic it really ironic & irritating.

To me all this is an eyewash, we are being and have been over the years taken for a ride. Congress should leave Baba alone, and Baba too must come off his antics as he seems so utterly desperate for getting some cheap attention at the expense of the people. However what we really see being played out in public is usually just the tip of the iceberg. The government needs to act and show results, as of now there is far too much noise and no action at all.

Very unfortunate. I think we have to rethink the whole concept of civil society. It is fast turning into group of ego-centric bunch of crowd having different motives, agenda etc.

I think those who are serious among them should form a political party and fights an election. Let the people decide.

Whether we like it or not, the people have elected this Lok Sabha. Being the head of the this Parliment, Manmohan should be allowed to run the government until he losses the trust of the Lok Sabha. That is basis of Parliamentary government. He cannot be dictated to act according to the feelings of people who finally are not answerable to the nation.

Yes. Certainly. Both the parties stretched it too far, to a point of no return. baba should not have participated in the discussions, in the first instance. He should not have called lakhs of his supporters to participate and go for back room dicussions. Govt would have been in a better position by not giving him a red carpet welcome. Both the parties messed up the issue beyond repair.

Ramdev's issue is something which only creating problems in actual and genuine movement of Anna Hazare. It is very clear from Ramdev's recent press conferences..He is using the issue of corruption morever for his own political gains. UPA govt is also trying to do whatever they want and i think here at this point things are getting messed up...

Yes...attempts are being made to divulge the issue but warring parties must realize that any new law will take time to take action.

The Congress is resorting to all sorts of dirty tricks to sully the image of Baba and make him withdraw his fight against corruption. All these probes, etc., should have been done long ago - before Baba started his fast. Not now. Doing it now points to the hundreds of skeletons in congress cupboard which will stand exposed - if this demand of bringing back black money succeeds.

Let the Government investigate Baba.  But at the sametime, investigate everyone of its ministers and MPs and MLAs and bring them to book if they have black money.

Let it be applied to everybody uniformly at the sametime - Congress, BJP, RSS, TDP, DMK, AIADMK, BSP, CPI, CPM, Muslim League, etc., etc

Its only due to Baba and Hazare supported with the people that this issue has got recognition and such an importance. Everyone knew about the black money in swiss bank and highlighted it at times like the Bofors deal etc. but nobody had the guts to put his stand in such a strong manner and the level of awareness among people was also never like this. People were skeptical if they can ever get information, forget about bringing back the black money. Now everybody realises that it may some time but the task is not impossible. Congress wants to divert from the real purpose as they are in government and perhaps their ministers are perceived as more corrupt by the people as they were in government for maximum number of years.

Agreed that was the basic direction the entire governance machinery wanted it to drag the initiative and achieve.

Yet have serious doubts if they can succeed on this occasion as people are serious about subject and giving good support to cause.

There are times when excessive denial and turns to expose the truth.

Why!! Test cricket is the best form of cricket and that tests the real power of a player. We should not get lost in glamor and forget the roots should we??
BJP too is forcing him to resign but he is seeking legal options to stay in. No one wants him, everyone knows how corrupt he is still he is not willing to leave! what should this attitude be called? Do you think he will resign at will ?
