Yes it continue to be in future also, as long as there are reservations on caste system and merit  ignored on the plea of social justice. There is a dearth of opportunities in India, even they are merit has no place.  India shall come out of its short-term political gains and its the time to build policies on long-term gains.

Yes, It is affection India. we are getting used to thousands of students going abroad every year for education. Former Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam had said that reverse brain drain will have to begin if India is to become a developed nation in the future. But the percentage of students coming back after studying overseas is not very high and hence efforts will have to be made to reduce the number of students going out in the first place. For this, we will have to revamp our education system and also include more higher education institutions in the country so that students do not have to look for alternatives elsewhere. The migration of students might have helped in ’brand India’ becoming more powerful, but the image of India needs to change in the future. We shouldn’t just be a country that produces great talent, but also the one that nurtures and builds on it. Every Indian is proud of the fact that he is an Indian, but we will have to wait for the day till he is proud of being in India.

I do not think that India is affected by brain drain. After all, what is India going to do with all these brains?. India does not have the ability to utilize all these brains because we really do not care - our culture and mentality is narrow. We do not have a positive culture which aids in innovation and excellence. We have embraced extreme socialism and we always would like to harp on the glory of our past (some 400 years back). Some Indians who invented/created some outstanding products in the west came back to India thinking that things have changed. They stayed here for four years, did nothing and then went back to the places where they came from.
