As so many students pass out from the colleges each year their first job preferences are MNCs. After some struggle in case they can't make into MNCs they turn to Indian companies. But will this trend continue for long. Are Indian companies more rewarding in terms of experience and otherwise?

Working in Indian companies are like traveling in the train and where as in MNC is like traveling by flight but both has consequences according to its degree of sophistication. Now a days Indian companies offer better carrier prospects as they have to appoint right candidates for the right jobs, since they are on the look out for the best candidates.

Thanks Mr.Alex for the referral.

Indian Company?????? What do you mean???? Some Indian Companies are as big as any MNC and public sector companies suffers from lack of proper administration. the ones which are running at profit are rewarding but knowing our system let aside growth for employees, even the smallest decision takes years. Why would a bright, ambitious mind be there???

By nature human beings never appreciate what they have.MNC has been given undue place in India.Indian companies lead by TATA,Birla and Goenka, Mallayya etc are better run run companies. They had understanding of local situations and they have given best service conditions. And Indians were living in comfort and with very marginal inflation.MNC entry- they wanted to grab best talent from these well groomed companies and offered remuneration half of what they would have paid in their countryThey have done favour to themselves.Indan youth became victims of this and common Indian is paying for highest cost of living.I strongly feel it will not be long, when most of the youth realize and prefer Indian companies, who will give them balanced living

Yes, Indian companies are more rewarding now a days. However, they still lack professionalism. If they adhere to the professionalism, they would be able to rule the world.

Indian companies have changed from the earlier stagnant growth for employees and undefined job profile. Today, public sector companies too are projecting growth prospects to students. However we can't directly compare the companies in term of salaries and other benefits but they do give a good platform for learning and developing new skills.

I think Mr.jayagopal should also think of the change that took place in in Indian industry. Most of them are providing better work ,culture and compensation.Ultimate fact is where talent is best used and better paid.Except in Govt, all Pvt sector Indian companies are as good as MNCs.We dont need to look down Indian companies.

Lets be frank. Here size doesnt matter but quality does. Indian companies may be big but what is the work culture, compensation benefits, professional approach etc. Zilch ! MNC's provide you with all of the above and that is why students prefer them. For those that are satisfied in a safe job and dont want to test themselves - indian companies would do. For those who can take the pressure and beleive in thinking out of the box or going the extra mile - they need to be in MNC's because only MNC's allow this.
