Competition will enrich our creativity, but comparison will not. According to me competition and comparison are the two ends of a string. So.. Actually i am confused that which side i should support..

Every person is having strength and limitations in his/her field.So insted of concentating on others strength and success,we should do a Self SWOT analysis and try to improve our caliber.

Competition is healthy, but comparison not! If you compare yourself with a preferential colleague, no matter what you do will not be noticed in a subjective environment. If you look at it very objectively, both will help enrich one's working yield / efficiency, otherwise not!
