Ego comes naturally ..as you rise you either need to protect yourself from it or it will show its colour. Ego clashes come out of four walls in no time.

Always good to deal but no body knows closed walls are always reflect what they are delivered at that point.

Even though the ego is natural, one should ensure that it is not affecting either the organization's interest or the others working in the organizations.Controlling is very important in maintaining the office decorum. Thanks Ms.Rashmi Patil for the referral.

Higher management people like GM and above with no direct subordinates or approval powers and working with small or medium sized companies are very egostic.

I support Rashmi that ego clashes come out of four walls in no time. As a matter of fact, it must be growth oriented rather that personality oriented.

ego clash is a natural phenomenon and it is actually a level booster. There would be a little competition among the peers and this in turn would accelerate to perform and succeed, but it has a very negative side as well and if not handled properly could be disaster.

There is no point in discussing any issue if already a decision has already been taken.Senior level ego clash may be at times very risky for employee and organization as well. If at all felt such an auckward circumstance one can have a healthy discussion but inside a room so that there is no notice of any third person to it and the same happens very organized way.

Not only senior level but all disputes must be dealt without bringing EGO. Ego is the biggest hindering factor to correct judgement hence can only carry the wrong way.

Remember the balloon becomes risky when inflated with excess air. Ego is nothing but hot air.

Ego clash is natural but it effect growth of organisation so it should be solved in closed room with discussion, but in most cases it does not happen.

Ego clashes specially at senior level is a natural phenomenon. But it must be restricted to the four or is it six walls of the board/conference room where juniors are not present.

Restriction of ego clash within four walls in board room will not vitiate the healthy atmosphere of an organisation. Differences of opinion should be discussed and thrashed out, as and when it happens!
