Is every company trying to be Apple?

Sony unveiled its first tablet computers in an ambitious attempt to grab second place in the market created and still dominated by Apple's iPad. Not only Sony but Samsung, Nokia , LG everyone has tried to do this. Why? To be on top? Can't they have some of their own innovative product? Do you think everyone is just trying to become Apple?

I think so. And I know nobody will be able to. People have to come out with their own products which have innovation not just improvisation.

the day when we start emulating someone or somebody the problem crops up..For your infm Apple and Samsung are in war of words over Samsung copying Ipad's certain features.

yes innovation improvement and make costinnovation for product but customer is not satisfied wih quality becuase in innovation they are reducing product asthetic look?

Basically they(Apple) have set a certain benchmark hard to get by easily for other companies.Such huge is their market and immense their presence in the world that they excel even without Indian market(which is the hub for all other companies to market their product).And as we can see all of its products what they say is true about them it doesn't get better.

So its like aping the apple

Apple is an innovator and comes out with next product on the concepts that already exist. It is imperative for others also to enter and create products of similar application which has a huge market and creates competetion at a level till China brings out its own version of the same. There are companies spending lot of amount on R&D and though they are not giving end products but are contributing to create products like Samsung is a supplier to Apple.

i don't think so that every company will try to be apple however as the business profit is concerned  Every Company will try to get more and more profit like apple. But that does not mean they want to be apple. I was just reading about tablet pc and you should see company like wespro that offer a very gud range of tablet pc with android os. cheap and best.
