Hi

We have advanced technologies and definition of many things have changed with times. Our requirements and needs too have changes along with this and our means too..

If you want to know anything , you can put it on your status and the friends who know about it come in and help you out.. You can know anything you want and everything you want if the right persons gets to see the status and in most of the case it happens .. So is FB the new EB ??

Facebook is a centralised Garbage receptacle that can never be compared to anything useful. In "1984" Orwell talked of "Big-Btother is watching". in FB, everyone is watching. It has become the biggest invador of privacy of the average citizen today

Face book is social net work and sure exchange of thoughts increases knowledge but it can not replace encyclopedia just work as supplement.

Every good thing brings along with it certain bad things as well. While FB has made the world a smaller place to live in with everything under one roof, it has also taken advantage by intruding into the privacy like never before, leaving traces of information for others to pick up and use it for their benefit.

It is similar to people staying under one roof but cannot help to keep everything that is private, private. Privacy in such case is bound to become public. FB need to bring that balance to ensure that the encyclopedia remain public to those who need it.
