Due to the Financial crisis which has affected all the sectors but then one sector or industry is overjoyed with the crisis, because Indian legal process outsourcing firms expect to get more litigation jobs-related projects due to the turmoil in US banking and financial markets. So what do you think Is the Financial crisis a blessing in disguise for the LPOs??? Share your views on this.......

Yes because With respect to the subprime crisis itself, there was a surge in electronic litigation work, Traditionally, the nature of jobs in the LPO sector are more focused on litigation and contracts management-related jobs. Litigation involves document reviews and assisting in investigations, whereas in the field of contracts management, firms are mainly supposed to do supporting contract procurement and drafting related works and this is going to be more due to the crisis that is happening, so LPOs are sure to make money during this time......

According to me yes because in the light of the US economic recession and the breakdown of established firms like Lehman Brothers, Washington Mutual and Merrill Lynch, LPO firms in the country are gearing up for their risk-assessment teams in anticipation of a increased surge in jobs related to scrutinising of their clients' financial transactions and corporate governance, So the Financial crisis is indeed a blessing in disguise for LPOs.

No I don't think so, because when there is recession happening it is difficult to expect the outsourcing thing going on as such, they are trying ways to cut the costs and outsourcing of work will be not their primary agenda, so in the current scenario i guess its not going to happen..
