Grred of making money faster people forget to undersstand the valuation of company, apart from that if we count the investor base majority of them invest on the basis of tip. So overall everyone is in the race of getting high return just on the basis of sentiment.

Many of the structures that define "equity research" in our minds are outmoded. In todays time and age there is no time, as no one seems to have the time. Everyone wants instant gratification. This has made sure that time is in short supply when it comes to the investment decision making process.

Equity research is certainly not dead, but it is on the road to being transformed. Fundamental and primary research is never going away - analysts and investors however are going to have to continue to identify unique angles and techniques.
