Yes Kavar , you are right gaming is spoiling the children day by day. They are going crazy for games. That too the mobile phones are the main reason for this. They are not properly concentrating on their studies or any sports activities.  

Games give them nothing it is just waste of time and they are facing many health problems too. So we should stop them from falling prey to these computer & mobile games. Instead we can motivate them to go for some sports which will keep them healthy.....

Let's ponder on why kids like gaming.It is the sheer freedom they provide,though illusionary.Kids need your attention and that is the root cause.It is like parents putting pacifiers in the mouth of a baby to make it stop crying.The root cause is never ever addressed.Gaming opens a large new arena of imagination...hence it is not dangerous

If you are talking about the Internet gaming (video games), than yes it is. Did you ever hear about the Counter-Strike? It is a game where terrorists and special squad soldiers fight, shoot, and kill with knife each other. The terms that were listed destroy children’s psychic. Many of them can play it for hours and even for days. It leads to not distinguishing the real life from virtual. According to Dr. Villani’s (Medical Director, School Programs, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Baltimore) researches video games increase violent and aggressive behavior, high-risk behaviors, alcohol and tobacco use. So as for me parents should keep children safe and not allow them video games.

The violent ones are especially bad as they could make your children violent, angry and psychopathic.

most modern games includes lot of violence, which is being highly imitated by kids. they are too young to realize how bad this can be. moreover they are getting glued to this affair.

i guess gaming is not dangerous if used in minimal way but kids now a days are so addicted to games that they forget the other way of passing time(Reading books etc)

I think, now these days lots of game are continuously coming in market, sometimes our children play a game in most of time in a day, and they stop their progress...

Never blame the kids. A child can be moulded the way you want only if you can travel on that road yourself, and that shud begin the moment the baby is born.

Parenting is an art and the child greatest need is  the parents presence and their company rather than the kids stuff thats flooding the market. Parents now are too busy with their own lives  giving scant attention to the pshycological needs of the child who is constantly yearning for it. spending on kids stuff is no match when you are with your child trying to understand his needs and watch him grow up. Most of the parents protect the child but do not CARE. There must be constant communication flowing between the parent and the child.  Its a fascinating journey only if the parents understand that a child is a bundle of emotions and aspirations and treat the child as equal. Remember the child is the father of the man. If this is absent , blame  yourself not the kids.

basically excess of evrything is bad evrywhere.if children r playing game upto a limited extent then there is nothing bad.instead its a gud mental exercise.

"Ideas don't stay in some minds very long because they don't like solitary confinement." do you know many of the simulations are performed today are by the help of gaming industry for example how a tsunami behaves is how much destruction is shown in the games it self it makes children aware how much terrorism is bad for example games like call of duty makes people love their country once again every time they play to save it or make people as one while playing online making us forget who is from india or us we play to win not to make our heads go crazy i am not saying to start buying games right now but its matter of development dont take the toy's away from children make it look even more attractive for example games like star craft or Warcraft make children's better strategist and develop leadership skills .

All I like to say is gaming is not that dangerous to children. Gaming is an art it gives creativity. Because of the gaming most of the children are very active in their day to day life. Gaming teach how to plan, how to over come an situation and most importantly gamer always gaol oriented to complete it. It make children always fresh. after a heavy day game try to make child relax. Its like utilizing the brain.
