Hi,

It is wrong to say that our government t is not taking any action to fight against Swin Flu.

Our Government had been active from the start to save our citizens from this flu.

Remember that group of students who went for some educational trip to US, after stepping in India they went through a thorough check up for this flu..And since then every person has o go through the test and whoever is failing ill they also checked for H1N1.

And we are getting the warnings to protect ourselves from the flu from the start and step for the precautions are also being taken.

I have seen the interviews of people who got cured from Swine Flu at the very first stage.

In my opinion our government is playing quit a good role to protect us from the flu.

Regards,

Rohini.

Yes Rohit, you are right. In the very beginning only, Indian government should have taken proper care and should have started taking samples of the foreigners visiting in India. Had they been doing so, today, this foreign disease wouldn't have entered into our country.

We just returned from our holiday - where we visited Turkey and Canada. We were all given the green health card which we had to fill in and submit to the Health Officers at the airport ( Bangalore) to our surprise we found that not one passenger was screened - the Health Officers just stamped everyone's health card and let us go. If the govt thinks that persons who think they have symptoms of H1N1 flu will voluntarily ask to be screened , then the Govt is sadly mistaken!

I can only give a very mixed type of answer. Our government did not take this matter seriously in the beginning. When the first case of Swine flu was detected in USA, the government should have immediately started taking the samples of people coming from abroad which he didn't do. As a result people of our country got the disease. But I am getting a feeling that nowadays they are taking this matter seriously and trying to take all possible measures to prevent this disease like educating people about this disease and opening government recognised treatment centres everywhere etc.
