Is India becoming the center for Global business & Politics??

Dear Sunitha,I may not answer your question. But i will try to provide some inputs and try to get your own answer.Your question has different dimensions. 

1. Economic prowess of India.

The first dimension is economic prowess. When i use the word economic prowess, it has two aspects. 1. A economic power that world cannot ignore due to its competitiveness and robust growth. The second aspect is being a potential place to do business and visits of dignitaries help creating a conducive business environment between both the countries~ at the same time provide market for defunct technology and trying to sell agricultural products( some of the examples are French President Sarkozy selling us nuclear technology with questionable safety practices. EU trying to make in roads into Indian agricultural market where the farmers are committing suicides, while EU farmers are enjoying the subsidies.Large population with politicians and businessmen who are ready to do anything at the beck of PR agencies and middlemen makes India a most vulnerable pray  for global hunters. Please do not read in between the lines as i am referring to Tata-Radia Episode. As a country we have perfected the art of polluting every asset we have. For your information, Cuuam was known as Buckingham Canal( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckingham_Canal), which used to have pure water, in fact Kanchi Pramacharya ( the Hindu saint) used to do his daily  exercises on the banks of Cuuam. To create it now it approximately 20,000 crores. It provided an excellent eco friendly transportation facility. Do you know its state now? if you want to refer to anything bad then in Tamilnadu we say it is like cuuam. We were proud of TATAs. We took every step to see that his reputation is brought down ~ in this case arm twisting. I look at him more as a victim, rather than a perpetrator. I think i am deviating from my topic. However, what i want to communicate is that all these visits are to ensure better market for their own countries products and services that are unsalable and India is a ready market. We are going to buy an aircraft carrier from Russia which outlived its utility after hefty price hikes. Every thing to boost the sagging economies of these visiting countries, probably with exception of China. One question that will come to you, how did we achieve this growth? You should know that 79.93% of Indians live under 2$ per day. The poverty is worst than most of the African countries. We have largest suicides in the history of the human kind. We are not bothered. We just want to show the world that we are growing at 6% growth rate.

2. Geopolitical role of India. India has a working democracy. However, it is the most populous and has largest talent pool. Its Human resources competencies are well known. Its unique position of proximity to Pakistan, Afgan and China makes itself a powerful player. It is not because of the political prowess that we got this, it is despite it. 

Now I want you look at these dimensions and try to find an answer for your question.
