BANGALORE: Lokayukta police on Monday registered a First Information Report (FIR) against former CM B S Yeddyurappa, his two sons and son-in-law, charging them with corruption in a mining deal.
Yeddyurappa, his sons B Y Raghavendra, MP, and B Y Vijayendra, and son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar have been booked under sections 7, 8, 9, 13(1) D, and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Yeddyurappa figures as the accused number 1, followed by his sons and son-in-law. Lokayukta SP Vidyasagar is the investigating officer.
In his report on July 27, then Lokayukta Justice Santosh N Hegde had recommended to the governor to initiate criminal proceedings against Yeddyurappa. The governor had written to the Lokayukta to initiate action. Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa has approached the Karnataka high court seeking quashing of Lokayukta's recommendations against him. The case is pending before the court.
According to the findings, South West Mining Company, a subsidiary of Jindal, had donated Rs 10 crore to the Prerana Education Society owned by Yeddyurappa's family members and Jindal Steels purchased one acre from Yeddyurappa's family members in Bangalore for Rs 20 crore, though the guidance value fixed for the land by the government was Rs 1.40 crore.
Will Yeddyurappa and family members be arrested? "It depends on the circumstances. After scrutinizing the documents and evidence, the investigation officer will take a decision,'' said Lokayukta ADGP Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar.

SHE MAY BE DESIROUS OF RAHUL GANDHI TO BECOME PM Naturally, unless Manmohan Singh is discredited enough she would not find ways to install Rahul Gandhi on the throne of PM. The silence of Rahul Gandhi till today in between the strong movement of Anna Hazare is a clear sign that he does not want to get any type of discredit in connection with Jan Lokpal Bill in the wake of foolish acts of negative propaganda by the congress spokes persons and cabinet ministers as well as the Delhi Police to arrest Anna on their direction, so that there may not remain any hurdle in his way to become a PM. Ans:- A fatal bill which advocates monarchy of a group of people who will be the dictator of Peoples Republic of India, The members in this panel will be badmouthed and non parliamentary and a kind of self appointed people's representatives moreover nobody except the members will have the right of judiciary on them. 2. Who is Anna Hazare? Ans:- Kisan Baburao Hazare or Anna Hazare is a person who is ever drunk of self importance and dominating personality who tend to change the group he joins and after joined a team in no time becomes the supremo and starts forcing his views. This man has a thug type character and at the same time he is the most coward person because in past he has beaten drunk people with belts and did not faced them when they are out of the hangover. 3. What is Anna fighting for? Ans:- Anna is fighting for a seat in center with ultimate judiciary and executioner powers to get a wand to be the monarch on a democratic country, moreover this man has the past records of being a betrayer to his friends and colleagues who are ashamed of being in his lobby once. 4.
