Yes we are and then there is more to technology than just iPads and iPhones.. Development in our agriculture industries and other core industries also have to be counted. We Indians are analytic and intellligent . We have always poved our worth and we need not to take names to prove it. Proud to be an Indian :)

No, we are no.1 in terms of Brain.but not in tech. we don't have any policy for research in technology in engg.colleges,It's very FEW. we assemble the car, bikes in India, but most of we don't design & don't have much production units in India than Japan, china etc..we have Brain but due to bad govern policy we are unable to use it. see the examples of past 50 yrs between japan, India, china, who is growing in terms technology. we are no.1 in software coding bcz we work in less amount. in terms of agriculture Australia & china is best. my big Q is -- we have more than 2500 Engg. colleges in India, but how many colleges doing RESEARCH ???

Yes!! I agree with you Inani, Consider using BUT, Yes we are having Analytic, Intelligent and Intellectual brains, but the question is where are they getting used? Where are we putting these brains in to production? The answer is Abroad. All this is lack of encouragement. Best Example: At least as far as technology is concerned technology is concerned, how many Product oriented companies are there in India. Majarity of Indian MNCs are service oriented. This is one of the areas where we lack.

Just ask ones own-self why we ware under external ruler - because we are brainier lot! Probably almost all the race in the globe have near average IQ. But the nature made how we behave - and that's make the difference - none is superior or inferior thus i doubt the validity of the debate itself!

If we are saying a country is superior in terms of peoples tech,brain or what ever it may only if they use it for their own countries development. If it is SOOoo INDIA is not an Superior, The NAZA, Microsoft, Google are dominated by Indians, Think a wfile if they are dominated in ISRO, WIPRO ??????

there is major problem that in india no body have resources to use it and every body in outside india haveing cheap resourses to do experiments even engineering colleges in India will not providing proper lab facility to students so we have to think about available resources due to that no body compare india brain to rest of world
