Yes, its indeed focussed. Ofcourse you can find many movies which are made for no rhyme of reason... but for sure there are many pathbreaking movies which if not for the the complete society.. has been of some use or a reason to change for few..

For example.. swades  did hit me very hard.. and was indeed very much inspired me very much...

Yes they are very much inward focused. They are not thinking out of the box, still they have the same concept and try to differentiate in different ways. Which does not take us anywhere. To compete globally we need to be more creative and innovative.

We should come up with different stories and new technology !!!

Yes, Indian cinema (in all languages) addresses corruption, in-house terrorism, social injustice by various systems etc.. this is more inward when compared to Hollywood which focuses on outward global issue such as economic crisis, global terrorism, science fictions like life on another planet etc..
