Earlier Indians don't prefer online shopping because of security issues. But now it is growing and security issues have been met. So will take some more time to hit Indians.....

Thanks...

Online shopping is still not much popular in India. The reasons are: 1) The low level of internet penetration in India. Moreover, absence of high speed internet hampers the customer experience for such services. 2) Indian masses still feel uncomfortable in shopping online because of security concerns and lack of trust. 3) Most banks have recently started their support for services like internet banking and shopping, therefore, it will take some time for the people to accept this trend Although at this point of time online shopping is largely unknown in Indian people but the trend is surely catching up.

Earlier indians don't prefre online shopping but now time has changed and no one having time to go  shop and purchase, they think if he can get all the things on his door on single click, so what is need to go on shop, you can see ecommerce sites are growing day by day in india, small shops, and firm also having ecommerce site, and now  it is secure also,

There are few branded products with a prior study of prices, the people in India do not hesitate to buy online. This is going to increase epsecially in the field of fashion & garments.

Definitely, customers are willing to buy online as the issues like - credit card misuse (now they have many options to pay like COD, paypal etc.,),  different items reaching them than they ordered (that is the reason why more brands are going online) are taken care off by the Online Retail Companies.

It helps them to order from their desks, do research if required on the net (for eg., customers can do a price comparison, model comparison online), pay through the secured banking systems & receive the product at their door step.

Customers, when they have to gift their friends, families etc., do shop online as they get to see a wide range of products like flowers, sweets, gifts, paintings, perfumes, watches etc etc., both in India & in places like US, Australia & major countries of the world.
