Earlier kids enjoyed playing outside with friends but today hardly kids are seen in parks, reason they are in front of internet all the day and hardly go for outdoor games. Gone are those days, when we used to see sweet children playing in parks. Modernising of technology and addiction of internet has stopped the "Park" era and left it as an bushy area.

So users, do you really think internet is killing the innocence of small children?

No matter technology has given us so many things. But it has snatched the originality from us. We are no more ourselves but just a slave of these modern gadgets. Our children forgot evening 5 o'clock rush to park with friends to play cricket resulting in decrease in social association, less physical work and more stress on eyes and brain. They are addicted to internet today, its games, social networks, games, videos and what not. They have lost their childhood and sweet charming innocence making naughty and foolish things bringing smile on everyone's face. Today's children are smart enough so forgot those things which an innocent child did

It's true... it'll change the whole mind of the child with respect to his age.... surely, the day is not far, tha the man will become slave of a machine....

Kids are not guided by self. They act the way we bring them up. I am not saying that there aren’t instances as Kavitha says and instances of internet spoiling children’s intellectual and physical development aren’t isolated. But blaming Internet is pointless. It is parents’ responsibility to capitalize on the merits and avoid the demerits of Internet and cultivate the kid properly.

I dont think that internet is killing innocense of child.Because with the increasing change in technology people have to be enough fast adopter.Everything in the world has both good and bad site.If we will stop inventing new things,if we will stop knowing the unknowns with the fear of adopting evils, will it be good for us?Will we be lagging behind all?Its somehow true, after emergence of internet in wide spread,it makes child more inclined towards internet. Now they prefer to play games in computer than in play-grounds. If from childhood people starts to accept and adopt new changes, its really praise-worthy for our nation.

i also agree that internet revolution has come up in past few years and it has a profound impact on everyone but it's certainly not killing any ones innocence . As fr as children are concerned its the responsibilty of their parents to help them strike a balance between originality and techno freak.

I too agree that internet has set a revolution in the recent years. But it's not the only reason stopping the kids to play in parks. The life of kids is so incredible compared to our times. The school and tuitions are keeping them busy for most of the time and when they are at home, they are addicted to TV shows be it a cartoon show or something else.

Kids love to participate in shows and parents are also encouraging them. Even for the summer vacation, they have separate plans for their kidsSo,where is the time left for parks?

I dont think the internet media is spoiling the kids activity. Just when kids go outside for any picnic or any kind of different world the remember the holidays they spent when they were outside. Even we remember the olden days where how we use to enjoy infact now also we love to see different world apart from the computer and internet. The reason is major change in the environment. If we Save the environment probably kids love to see Outside and making new friends.

I don't think they have lost their innocence. Still children see animations more than other things online. Characters like Mickey mouse is still available online. We see children laughing on jokes and funky things which may be out of our understanding. Outdoor games have not yet stopped and I don't think internet can ever replace it. The only advantage internet is doing is our children are becoming more intelligent and clever which is a good signal.
