Yes, I agree with you Subhash. Our players showed more interest in IPL due to money involve in it. Also they are not serious about T20 world cup as they did not done practice session before their last match to Sri-lanka. All of them enjoyed sea ride & beach volley-ball.They should be paid as per the result of the match/series.

Yep. I think the Indian players in IPL see immensely more profit in IPL than representing India - can rue the fact but can we blame them? The pride of representing India is too little when compared to the mega bucks of the IPL contracts. It is a matter of mindset - and the pride of being an Indian and representing it fall by the wayside...

Saurabh you are right. his IPL seasons with lots of money, Fame, Name, Parties etc., all contributed to the poor show at T20. Not only this but for the cricket being looked at as Money maker for every one involved and least importance to the future of the Game is doing the damage in the long run for the Game. But good for the players in the short term.

I think India's escape from T20 world cup has shown that we are very complacent about preparations for T20 world cup. As most of our "Heroes" in IPL looked great on Indian pitches...but faced the chin music in "Carrebian". It showed that we are still weak playing "Pace" and "Bounce". The same thing happened in Last T20 world cup; so there is definately lack of preparations for this world cup.

THANK YOU SAURAB FOR YOUR INVITATION. IPL IS AN EXCUSE FOR NON PERFORMANCE.IT IS THE LAX ATTITUDE,MINDSET,INABILITY TO ADAPT,DETERMINATION TO PERFORM,LOW CONFIDENCE LEVEL,IMPORTANCE TO MONEY THAN THE GAME ETC ETC ETC ARE THE REASONS AND IPL SINGULARLY IS IN NOWAY RESPONSIBLE FOR LACK LUSTURE PERFORMANCE OF OUR HEROES.

No, why should IPL be blamed, its a domestic tournament and provides valuable match practice to the players. Moreover India is out for more of a technical drawback of being unable to tackle the short deliveries rather than anything else. So these so called media hyped greats should go back to the nets and practice playing some short rising deliveries.

IPL has nothing to do with the poor performance of Indian cricket team. It is only over confidence, over ambition and casual approach which has resulted in to this type of mess. Cricket is a game of strategy and tactic which our players have totally lacked as they are more busy in being brand ambassadors.

obviously no. they had healthy amount of t20 practice in ipl. we did not have any batsmen in the line who could play well in backfoot like upcoming virat kohli n robin, essential for playing in bouncy wicket. our bowling , batting , match strategy was too defensive. its a no-no in t20 game.

no I do not think so, but the attitude of not carrying the fun in limitation by individuals players has slumped the game. ther many foreign players who have played here but their track record has not gone down at WC-T20. money is heavier than the CUP for us atleast by statistic . further it is wrong so say the superb opportunity like IPL should be made bali ka bakra so of some tom dick and harry. sport is not always winning but the performance and fight does matter. if some player feel that cannot perform than they should be rested and new guys must be given chance. DO NOT SAY THAT INDIANS CRICKET CRAZY NATION DO NOT HAVE 20 PERSONS EXTRA SO THAT WE CAN FIGHT THE WC T-20 AT BEST AND LET THE IPL GUYS REST. THERE MUST BE FIRE IN BELLY OF BCCI SELECTORS ALSO SO THAT THEY SELECT PROPERLY AND MAKE THINGS HAPPEN AND NOT JUST PARTY. WHY CANNOT MANAGEMENT PROFEESIONAL SELECT AND PERFORM ON STATICTICS AND NOT ON PHONE CALLS.
