Yes it is profitable if we use the right parameters (investment) in selection and effective implementation of Corrective Actions and changes to QMS. The output should result in reduction of losses about at least the cost involved in implementation of the Corrective Action... Then only it is profitable... Otherwise a single penny spent just for certification is a loss...

For small scale industries it looks to be nonprofitable and if you actually take companies adhering to ISO standards there will be only a few most companies bribe these officers and get things done
