Is it going to be the end of Internet Explorer?

There has been a steady decrease in the usage of Internet Explorer in various countries. In India, the market of Explorer has reduced from 70 % to 51% in March 2010. Does it indicate the end of life of Internet Explorer with the entry of new-age browsers like google chrome, firefox and others?

I think that the drop-down in share of Internet Explorer started when Firefox introduced multi-tab browsing. Though, Microsoft introduced the same in the later versions of Internet Explorer, it didn't seem to be effective when compared to its competitors. Then came the bug in Internet Explorer 7 which created a security hole in the product. The user friendliness available in other browsers is missing in Internet Explorer and the users have got a lot of browsers available in the market to choose from.
