Nowadays, most us shun to watch the news channel in a hour of leisure time we get in the evening, because we find that this truly idiot box continuously show same rhetoric and snarling at each other of some politicians repeatedly in every channel, many of them are too irritating to watch even with the volume off, making us to wonder how far we should go on suffer them silently without reciprocating?

Media guys easily dig out a new issue everyday from something somebody did or said, and create juicy stories reading between lines and stretching the meaning of each word to create some hyper melodrama and get a number of readily willing politicians who seem to have nothing else worthwhile to do and spread them as pawns in the game.  Poor viewers, who pay dearly for the channel are bombarded with these and the ever repeating dud commercial ads in between, can do nothing except go mad in no time.

Greatly over incited with the gimmicks added by the media anchors, the spokespersons of the opposition parties over exhort to find fault with everything the government, the ministers and bureaucrats do and want nothing less than the head of someone axed  every other day.  The UPA’s spokespersons try hard to counter these and often the whole show become worse than the fish market brawl.

The qusetions are:- A. Yes. The opposition should act as a shadow government.

B. NO. There is no other way for the public but to suffer.

India has put up with the selfish and whimsical behavior of politicians from different parties for more than six decades now. It is high time for us to say enough to these spineless and unscrupulous individuals. Let the reins of power be passed on to those who really love and care for our motherland.

In this respect India should adapt

what they do in Australia and may

be in some other countries also.

There, the opposition form a shadow government and act on every issue in hand accordingly.

There is shadow PM and there are shadow ministers of all important portfolios.

For every debated issue in the parliament, it is the responsibility of these shadow PM and ministers to explain to the house how they would deal with those had they been in power.

It helps the government to look at viable alternatives and help to sent clear message for the voters to know whether government is doing their best or not.

Very true Paul.... like all the time, again I appreciate your thoughts.... Like Australia we also should have shadow Govt, which will give the true feedbak of actual Govt.... this will help us to grow in multidimensions and atleast we would be free from such political figures.... hope for good alwyas.
