Agree with my friends on the other side of the debate. But after crisis the matter has to be dug up and plugholes closed. The opposite happens in India. The moment there is a crisis, everyone from the politician to man on the corner wants to have his say. And if possible the flashbulbs. Later as times role by everyone goes into a deep slumber of peace. Really immature way of handling dangerous situations. Pragathi has a point that  any unwanted lethargy from the government bodies has to be brought to light and guilty punished. Not necassarily during the crisis but after it passes.

We got to learn from other countries how to conduct ourselves during a crisis.

During the riots in England, the PM lashed out on the the parents. And the police was given a free to quell the riots. And we saw the results.

Imagine a Indian PM acting so sternly. He would have been lynched by the opposition and parents of the boys. We have to be a more mature society.

And I think that is when you should act, with due thought. You cannot bring a nation to a standstill on every topic you differ with the Government. And not in a country like India where democratic norms of governance are really laudable.

Mr. Deb! Yes I suppose it is a very thin line between stating facts and going over the top in a crisis situation. Makesh also has a point that if their are genuine concerns voiced during the crisis, we can jolly well be sure that our politicians will savor the moment. Really sad state of affairs.

Yeah why not. They represent us and if they are acting like novices we gotta ask why they should be in office. Our constitution gives us the right to ask.

Criticism is a part, lets not deny with this fact, take a consensus from a family, who has lost dear-ones in a terror attack, but still being an active citizen of a nation,We should contribute suggestions not sarcasm to the govt.

I think a citizen has the right to criticize... But opposition parties have to support the Government during times of crisis, instead of fishing in troubled waters... Am I right ?

Mr. Vinoy it sure is a thin line. And we cannot leave it to the media and politicians to maintain that balance especially in a crisis. Hence we should make it clear as a people that we do not entertain public figures playing to the galleries in times of crisis.

Yes, I appreciate the thoughts of Makesh. But, when the Govt. is failing time and again and look for political gains from the tragedies what should be done. The spirit of nationality is dying everybody try to look things from his own angle, whether it is people or parties. We have some personalities who argue on communal and caste lines here on toostep also. People are divided on caste, regional, communal and etc. etc. lines. Discriminatory politics are dividing the people. As long as stature-less politicians occupy the positions who are indecisive and lacks appealing, people tend to vent out their ire in someway or other particularly during the times of crisis.

Makesh I agree with you. This mishap could have happened during anybody's governance. What is a matter of worry the injured were not treated well and the Hospital and the Delhi Government including the Delhi health Minister should be taken to task.

The central government is trying to do best possible things in this trying time.

Yes, I support Mukesh here. One must realize that its some mental illness called terrorism. The role of the Govt. is to ensure that nobody should use the occasion to arouse people sentiments for whatever injustice was faced by innocents.

At times of crisis-we should refrain from raising because the politicians will use this as an opportunity to mess up the situation. Meanwhile the perpetrators of the crime will go scot-free during the tamasha.
