why we don't think on solutions to stop such issue...... I think we have to talk about the concrete solutions to stop such mess instead of bleming who is responsible 4 that? Coz though we all know who is responsible 4 CWG corruption we are helpless to do something against them as our hands are too short comparative to them...

Chairman Should Accept The Responsiblity Of The Mess Created Instead Of Passing The Buck On Delhi Government Of Late Handing Over. This Is Typical Of Maharashtrian Politician....

As a Chairman of OC(CWG), he is answerable. It is because of his inability to organize and control the event has resulted in this mess and country is getting a bad name.

As head of organising committee complete responsibility is his, they had ample time but they were not in hurry saying everything is under control , now at last minute he is saying "infrastructure was not given in time ", why all this was not preplanned , such a prstigious event and we made mockery of it . We wih second largest population couldnot do one event on time, that also after spending crores, not that money was a constraint but the will to excel was not there. He and his team should be tried and made to pay till the last penny they have. Its not only him the person who was to check his preparation should be taken to task also ..no one responsible in the committee and over it should be let off..

Mr. Kalmadi, as Chairman of OC (CWG, 2010), can't escape the main responsibility as well as the related accountability for the "huge mess" + "loss of face - for the country as a whole". If one person is to be singled out, it has to be him only.

Kalmadi is not onle responsibile. Delhi Govt, Urban development ministiry, Sports ministiry & Indian Govt all are responsibile for mess of games. We have taken a sleep from 2003 & now we are trying to host games. India is not capable for this type of events. (Because of corruption & delay, not by our capacity)

this is not a school event, but a national event where you blame an individual for the mess...the govt. need to own up the responsibility of retaining ppl like Matto who in the eyes of Hockey India Federation is a defunct entity, letting Suresh Kalmadi change the doc that would put him the OC Chairman, turn a blind eye to the slow progress made by the OC until the last minute...there are just so many blunders made by the govt...including the plan to schedule the CWG during the monsoon season...i mean can you blame kalmadi only for this entire fiasco..NO except that you can blame him on the administrative front...but on the planning front, the team organization, et al, you have nobody else but the govt. to blame...this is a team effort and making some one else the scapegoat will not solve the problem...if it is a failure, the entire team gets pulled up and vice-versa...just as in a team sport...getting rid of the rot and building up a strong team of individuals with commendable administrative background is what the govt. should have done....putting a cap on the total expenditure is what the govt should have done...monitoring the progress of the project rt. from the beginning is what the govt. should have done...taking care of its own athlete by way of building proper infrastructure rather than building it for CWG with poor quality materials is what the govt. should have done...watching kalmadi play the lead role in the entire corruption is what the govt. should NOT have done...AND WHAT NOT...where do i stop...and now tell me whom do you blame??
