Yes, It is difficult...however, its very important also to follow the processes to ensure the organisation works on a certain work and quality process.

The main reason is that they do not know how to create a different set of well functioning processes. One process is usually part of a complicated set of interaction with other processes and there is no easy answers. You need to make your own and make them fit to your business and the context you do business in.

If you only do business in one context you will often miss the changes in other contexts that are essential to your own business.

The music industry is the best example right now. The old business model is dead and new and more user friendly sets of solutions are awailable to the customers, but where is the old record companies?

Businesses affected with rapd change in the world level scenerio.These days one cannot have very short time focus and the bussiness grows rapidly in various directions.

The cause to this is the opportunities, that are created and the  people trying to get a market share in that too.

Beyond that the technology has changed the normal running bossiness with its high computing speed as customers need immediate answer for any query.
